Niokolo-Koba National Park
Niokolo-Koba protects savannah, gallery forest and habitats along the Gambia River. It is a separate destination from the Bedik and Bassari villages; plan travel and entry arrangements before combining visits. Park photographs document past observations; wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
Things to see and do
- Ask park authorities which areas are accessible.
- Explore varied landscapes along authorised routes.
- Watch wildlife from a distance without feeding or following it.
Good to know
